ABOUT GERALD
A Farmer Who Never Had a Reason to Waste Money
I'm Gerald Campbell. I've worked this same patch of Midwest ground since I was a boy following my daddy through the rows, and I'm not fixing to stop just because I'm 85.
Folks ask me why I never called an exterminator, why I never bought a bag of fertilizer, why my tools from 1962 still cut better than what they sell new at the hardware store. Truth is, nobody taught them what my daddy taught me. That knowledge used to pass hand to hand at the dinner table. Most of it's died out now — but not on this farm.
My grandkids kept telling me to write it down before it's too late. So I did. Every trick in this book, I've used myself, more than once, and it saved me real money every time.
